Prosper and Thrive

Smaller than small
Like a spec of sand,
You're out in the ocean
And can't spot land

You are the captain
The crew is inside,
Your ship is sailing
But it's about to capsize

Your heart is pumping
It's thrown into overdrive,
The one humanly instinct
Is that to survive

As the boat fills with water
His life flashes before his eyes,
This really could be it
This time he really could die

With his toes in the water
The water made of ice,
He thinks to himself
What have I done with my life?

If he met God tonight
Would he be accepted or denied?
His wife was his world
Why did he have to lie?

All of these questions
Piled high to the sky,
He then added to the water
When he then began to cry

If he had one more chance
One to make things right,
He would change everything
He would Prosper
He would Thrive

As he had accepted this as his final fate
He said his last good byes,
A spotlight shined and blinded him
It was the coast guard in the sky

He had received his second chance
This time he'd do things right,
He still had a purpose
A reason to be alive
