Seconds

His plate piled high
A meal fit for a king
Steak with mushrooms
with a side of delectable greens

I'd seem he'd be satisfied
But it's not what it seems
At dinner tonight he asks
"Can I have seconds please?"

Man with enough riches
To eat every lobster in the sea
He who has enough money
To feed a small country

One question kind sir
Do you ever consider
If anyone else is hungry?

Feelings deeper than hunger
Now consume you with greed
I dream that one day
Instead of you sir
You'd help someone in need

To bless someone with food
To do a good deed
To fill a hungry mouth
Even if nobody see's

A chain of reactions
Planted by one seed
Created a Philanthropist
From a man once made of greed
