Patience

Never did I realize
What strength I had inside,

More than when I had to wait for
Something that I couldn't buy,

Everyone has their struggles
And time is of the essence,

The world thrives for the now
When we all should learn to be patient,

Patience is a virtue
Something I've always heard,

If you're willing to put in the time
You'll get what you deserve,

No prayer goes unanswered
It just gets set aside,

For when the time is just perfect
Our father God will provide.
